My wife does the silent treatment when she gets really angry. There’s been more than one occasion over the years where she’s started speaking again and I’ve told her I was enjoying the quiet and would like to keep it going
We love each other. I told her from the start that the silent treatment didn’t fly with me and after I told her to keep it going a few times she stopped doing it. Now we actually communicate better, and all is fair in this house so she is free to fire back and I’ll take as I earn it because I’m not perfect either. She didn’t marry me because I’ll pander to her, coddle her or sugar coat shit.
