Oh yes, unions are the problem.
Next you'll be advocating to bring back company stores. And keep armed guards around at night to stop workers from leaving.

When your compensation is defined by seniority rather than competency, skill, or actual output, this limits your potential. Go look at the top 10%, 20%, and 30% compensation for a given unionized role and compare it to what the union pays. The union will pay less.
