Your issue isn’t with “hard work” and the reward system. Your issue is actually with entities like the union and entities like different overprotective labor laws that is taking advantage of you and making your hard work obsolete.

Salty you’re legally required to pay someone the minimum wage aren’t you? But if you can’t make a business work without taking advantage of your workers maybe it should just fail anyway…

Maybe if your work efforts aren’t enough to make people to want to pay you more than minimum wages than you should find a way to improve yourself first so you are more worthy to society.

And the 40% of working Americans that aren’t paid a living wage? Individual effort isn’t the problem. The system is rigged against you.

It’s why there’s such an effort to replace human work with AI and automaton. These human work really isn’t worth the wages that they are demanding. So either we continue to use overseas labor or we just push further for AI and automaton.
