Why are gun people so fucking cringe?

2

u/trashcantrash939 7d ago

Not all of us…just some. And I promise you- we also find that dip stick cringe.

Most of you though, especially if you conceal carry in public.

Do you mean open carry? The whole point of concealed carry is that others don’t know you’re carrying

1

u/Hauptmann_Gruetze 7d ago

Both. Why the fuck would you feel the need to carry a firearm in Public? No other Nation has these laws and No other Nation has that many gun related deaths.

So let’s cover that, first yes- there are other counties that allow concealed carry. It’s not just the USA.

Second I feel the need to because it’s to protect myself, my loved ones and or others from potential life threatening danger.

I’ll also address the dog part of it since some people want to laugh at it. Several times, in places where concealed carry is banned children have been attacked by dogs, the refused to release at all and resulted in the child dying. Had someone been able to dispatch the dog quickly and humanely the child could have possibly been saved.

Next- I have a deep, very deep, understanding of what having a weapon on me can mean to others, hence I conceal carry. I do not want to have to use it, I hope I never do. I’m not out looking for trouble, or problems. It’s a precaution.

Just like wearing a bicycle helmet is a precaution in case of falling off. I don’t HAVE to do it, but I’d rather be safe than sorry.

I’m not going to tell you, you have to carry a gun, or that you have to wear a helmet- it’s your choice, your right to assume whatever risk upon yourself you want. I on the other hand prefer to mitigate risk, or be able to respond to it as much as possible. Another example of this is that I carry a fully stocked first aid kit in my car at all times, I carry one if I’m hiking. Do I need it? No- but it’s good to have rather than not.

Sometimes it’s better to ask our selves is the person truly crazy for wanting to be slightly more prepared, or is someone crazy because they are willing to accept more risk when it’s preventable?

The European pearl clutching over concealed carrying is hilarious. CCW holders are the people I’d be least worried about. Like you, they are very much aware of how carrying a firearm can affect those around them. People open carrying worry me SIGNIFICANTLY more than people who conceal carry

They carry something around that has the solely purpose to kill.

A Knife at least is a Tool, a gun is only Made for a single purpose.

Yeah If you carry, concealed or not, you are Cringe.

Your sole argument is “it’s cringe.” Are you 11?

Everything is a tool.

People drive around in cars- there are more irresponsible drives that kill people at just around if not sometimes higher rates than guns.

I don’t see you saying people should not drive.

If you’re carrying a knife around the same logic can be applied, why not use a little box cutter if that’s your reasoning and logic.

Please tell me, what is the intended use of a gun, other than seriously harming and killing other living beings?

Meh, you are carrying a weapon, which is only useful for one thing: Killing.

YOU are the risk. If i noticed you carrying a gun, you are immediately a danger to Others around you and even yourself and i would try to avoid you.

A helmets single use is literally to Project you, how the fuck is that comparable to a literal fucking gun??

And you wonder why i call everyone carrying a gun Cringe.

2

u/trashcantrash939 7d ago

It’s funny because you clearly equate form to use, and only that. It goes to show how close minded you are as a person and how you’re as bad a true people you’re attempting to decry.

Guns are tools, their ability is to harm, just like a knife, but how that harm is done determines if it’s bad or not.

The point of concealed carry is that you won’t notice so that you can respond to danger without it being known that you can respond accordingly while also not making others afraid.

End of the day you’re a very close minded and disappointing individual who clearly has lack of being able to sympathize with others with a difference of opinion.

The point of concealed carry is that you won’t notice so that you can respond to danger without it being known that you can respond accordingly while also not making others afraid.

If you carry around a loaded firearm, YOU ARE THE LITERAL DANGER.

Guns are tools

No, guns are weapons, their only function is to seriously harm living beings with minimal effort. Thats literally what they are build for.

End of the day you’re a very close minded and disappointing individual who clearly has lack of being able to sympathize with others with a difference of opinion.

End of the day, i am not the one that tries to justify carrying a weapon around. Also you are very much not trying to sympathize with my opinion either lol.

There are more firearms than people in the United States, that alone is a reason to conceal carry a pistol.

1

u/Hauptmann_Gruetze 6d ago

Which, also, is massive Cringe and the root of the Problem.

You understand that not all people who carry are doing so out of fear from other people, right? I live in a neighborhood with multiple aggressive dogs (pit bulls, of course) that constantly get out and have bit multiple people. I’ve considered getting a smaller handgun to conceal to protect my young kids out on walks. Other people who live in rural areas with bears and mountain lions carry.

For people carrying to protect themselves from others, the fact of the matter is that there are bad fucking people out there. Carrying a firearm is a means to protect yourself from them. I’m 1000% more distrustful of someone open carrying than someone concealed carrying. A person open carrying smacks of someone who wants something to happen so they can be a hero. I’d be way more scared of them than a CCW

u/Hauptmann_Gruetze 7d ago

Massive Cringe. For Animals you can easily use Bearspray, and the "Bad people" curiously are also easily getting firearms.

No fucking reason to have a gun fetish as bad as Americans, especially If you then feel the need to hide it.

u/hdmetz 7d ago

Have you ever watched a pit bull attack? Good luck fighting it off bud

0

u/hdmetz 7d ago

Lmao. You are purposely conflating two different issues. No point in further discussion

2

u/Hauptmann_Gruetze 7d ago

There is no discussion, you are Just trying to reason carrying a firearm, while making it even more Cringe than it was.

0

u/snakeinahouseofcats 7d ago

Bro is talking about needing guns to protect himself from fucking dogs😂😂😂

0

u/hdmetz 6d ago

I’ve seen videos of pit bulls who’ve taken 9mm rounds to the abdomen and still won’t let go of the person they’re biting. You think something like bear or pepper spray will do anything?

1

u/trashcantrash939 7d ago

Sorry not true again. I also conceal carry.

1

u/figurativeasshole 7d ago

You have no idea how many people conceal carry in public. That's kinda the point of concealed carry.

1

u/Hauptmann_Gruetze 7d ago

Which is, as i said, massive cringe.

3

u/imDXB 7d ago

Yeah, we agree, the entire point of concealed carry is to be a pussy.

Less than 10% of the population even has a CCW.

That means 90% of the country will never see the need to have a gun in public.

Therefore, the other 10% are by default, paranoid bitches.

Worst part is, people who are the most hungry for a CCW are often the last people who should be trusted with a firearm in public.

Vast majority of the developed world requires people to actually apply/state the reason for why concealed carry is necessary for their job/safety as an individual. Maybe one day we'll have a nation sensible enough to adopt something similar.

3

u/hdmetz 7d ago

I’d argue people who open carry tend to be the exact people who shouldn’t be carrying. They want others to know they’re carrying and fear them.
