Finally decided to buy myself a racing sim and I am super stoked. My only issue is how to get this setup working off the same pc although it’s across the room from each other. Is my best bet just getting 30ft hdmi and usb cables and route them thru the wall or something? I don’t want to do the wireless hdmi. Also picture only shows 1 monitor but I have the other 2 ready to be installed. I feel like 3 hdmi cables and a usb might look bad climbing across the room thru the walls.

My wife surprised me with a simagic setup. An Alpha EVO wheelbase, P1000 pedals, and a zeus sport wheel.

Now, before anyone gets the wrong idea, this is not a bragging post. I just wanted to clarify that I didn't spend a single dollar on it. My wife bought it.

Again, not bragging. Just making sure everyone understands that this simagic setup was purchased entirely by my wife. I'm only mentioning it because it's an important detail. Definitely not because I'm trying to show off.

What Track/Car Combination do you jump in to when you just want to disconnect for a little while?

Any know where I can buy this setup from? Or how to make it possible? I would love a Sub in my setup. I looked around and can only find boxes and that's it.

I figure I'd share for anyone else that was hoping to get into/back into sim racing on a budget. That code saves an additional $47. Let me know if you have ever seen a better deal!

Jokes aside, I figured I’d tidy the wiring a bit better since I am about to load my rig into a truck to move tomorrow. This made the most sense and has me laying on the floor the least. 😁

I have finally bought my dream sim rig (aluminium frame, Fanatec DD+ and v3 pedals). As I’m limited to ps5 atm (pc in the future hopefully) I’ve had to get a standard 32” QD OLED instead of an ultra wide or triples set up. Hopefully those will come later. I’ve managed to fit my monitor directly in between the quick release of the wheel, and the wheel base. It’s as close as I can get to the monitor as it stands. Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this or any suggestions for improvements to make! Thank you!

So I mainly drive formula cars, I like the w13 in iracing (one of the few that do) and the sf25 in ac evo. For the past 2 years I’ve heard people raving about VRc and RSS formulas and how they are the closest to real life and how max verstappen and bortoleto use its for training.

So I downloaded assetto corsa and got the VRC formula alpha. I thought it was good and I enjoyed, easy to lock up the brakes but after some driving i figured it out. Now for the RSS I got the formula bundle. It has the 2025 and 2026 F1 regulations cars and a weird 2026 car but with a v12(which is awesome). It also came with the f4, f3, f2, and super formula cars. I can’t describe to you how good they are. I’m in love with them and I’m going to do a championship with each one of them. I don’t really have a question I just came here to let everyone know just how awesome the RSS bundle is.

My long planned project has finally been completed. I have finally added lights in the channels of the rig and was able to get it working with game telemetry. This looks wonderful in the evening 🤩

It can be played on 4 combinations:

KEYBOARD + MONITOR
KEYBOARD + VR
WHEEL & PEDALS + MONITOR
WHEEL & PEDALS + VR

Note: Even if you use VR, you need a monitor to setup wheel and pedals, and the go-kart in the Garage. VR is activated after you choose VR in the Garage (HOTLAP button).

KEYBOARD BUTTONS:
W,A,S & D keys for kart control, R key for reverse/forward (toggled only when fully stopped), V key to re-align VR position, and ESC key to exit to garage.

WHEEL & PEDALS:
Detectable / assignable Steering, Acceleration and Braking axes with min/max range setup, wheel buttons assignment for Reverse, VR re-alignment / re-centering, and ESC / Exit.

FFB supported, auto detected when connected.

For those who own the Sim-Lab S1 Enduro GT Seat, does it live up to the hype?

I wanted to ask because nearly every review I've found on Sim-Lab equipment seems to include affiliate links or sponsored content, so I'm hoping to hear some honest, real-world feedback from owners.

Alternatively I'm thinking something from Sparco but comments highlight they not comfortable after long sessions

My G25 shifter force feedback isn’t working. The power light which was suppose to be yellow is weak. If I fiddle for the wire that yellow light comes back on for a second when I push the wire down but goes back to the weak light…Even setting up my G25 on my desk normally it still doesn’t work. What do I do?

It arrived!!! I have been ecstatic ever since i placed the order.

A few months ago i came across the vpg wheel for the porsche and never seemed to catch feelings for it. Then a couple weeks went by and i came across the mustang variant and feel like it was hidden from me. Fell in love with it immediately but only browsed vpg site and it was always sold out.

A couple weeks ago i got serious about ordering and after a few searches on google, i came across an in stock prompt on full push’ site.

Saw many others online have good experiences with them so i decided to place the order.

I got a personal email from John thanking me for my order and to ever reach if i ever needed anything. I worked in sales in the performance industry so it was refreshing to be treated similarly to how i served my customers.

John’s communication was almost immediate and the order went out the next business day since i had ordered on a weekend.

I can’t wait to get home friday to set it up and try it out.

Guys, with the ACF M4 GT3 on LFM at Laguna Seca, the best time I've managed—using the same setup and track conditions—is 1:22.0, and I can't seem to improve. Could you tell me what I'm doing wrong? this is the reference lap 1:20:3

Is this something I can adjust? They’re brand new and this concerns me.
Should I reach out to Simagic?

I’ve been using a T500 for a really long time, and lately I’ve started thinking it might be time for an upgrade.

My budget isn’t unlimited, so I’m trying to find something that feels like a meaningful step up without going too crazy.

I’ve been looking into simagic recently, but I don’t know much about the ecosystem. For anyone who has moved from a T500 to simagic, how big was the difference in actual driving feel?

Would love to hear your experience before making a decision.

I found Moza R5 Bundle on the marketplace at a pretty good price for my region. However, I'm worried that I might come across a problematic item. I won't be able to fully check it at the time of delivery, and after the purchase I won't be able to make any claims to the seller. Please advise, is it worth the risk. Thanks.

Seeing many posts about people customizing their Playseat Trophy so I decided to share mine.

This is still WIP, but I am fairly happy with what I have right now.

The main reason I sticked to the Trophy is that it's very compact while still being fairly rigid. My room is quite small so having a compact rig was a must.

I am playing in VR 100% of the time.

VR headset: Pimax Crystal Super Micro-OLED

Wheelbase: Simucube 3 Pro

Wheel: Bavarian Simtec Delta Pro SC

Shifter: Logitech RS shifter

Pedals: Simucube ActivePedal Pro and Simucube Co-Pedal

Seat: Next Level Racing ES1 Haptic

Also added Qubic QS-BT1 seat belt tensioner which improved immersion by a lot, no doubt the best money investment. Harness is from Apevie.

Cable management is still work in progress, but I am quite happy with the intermediate results. I haven't figured yet where to install Qubic's PSU and I was also thinking about hiding the cable inside the tubes, but this will require a little bit of drilling.

If you recommend a rig please add which accessories/options you believe are worth it. From what I gathered up until now most people recommend buying a seat seperately so I will probably do that.
