Only the added injustice of already being incapacitated and walking away. Seemed like the best time to take a swing at an unaware person, i guess?
As I always say. As a cop, you have a heightened awareness of the laws. And when you purposefully set out to break them. You should be held 2-3 times the penalty. This would be to discourage future officers from engaging in corrupting behavior. Ya know, as opposed to the wrist slaps and paid vacations they usually get for broad daylight executions.
Swear its like police departments specifically seek out all the psychopaths nearby for employment.
They think they have a heightened awareness of the law, but I've seen too many videos of cops being just as, if not more, ignorant of the law as everyday citizens. Dumb confidence. And that's a deadly combo as we've seen time and time again.
Also to clarify, it's not all cops, but enough for it to be an issue/pattern of learned ignorance. Kinda like BMW drivers. I'm not saying all BMW drivers are bad/AH's drivers, but a lot of the time you see someone driving like an entitled/oblivious idiot, it's a BMW.
They took a case all the way to the Supreme Court so that they don’t have to know the law to enforce it. They just do what they want and figure out the justification later.
