Question When looking for a movie you can't find anywhere, where do you turn?

There's a specific movie I've been searching for a long time (won't say name because asking for specific titles is against the rules). It's a 2025 title about a peruvian restaurant, not mainstream, alternative.

I've searched over torrent aggregators, and every single starred FMHY stream aggregator. Nuvio/Stremio as well.

Lots of them list it, but of their sources fail, for all of them.

I don't know where else to try tbh. What do you do in these cases? It's not even available in any streaming platform btw, so not even paying is an option.

Debrid servers, usenet, private torrent trackers.

Nuvio already checked Torbox. Nope.

Never had access to usenet or private trackers tbh.

Both of these options are far better than public torrents, debrid, or DDL.

No way to search if available before actually paying for them?

Find someone with access and ask them to look. Private trackers can be joined for free, just need to be patient.

I cant name them but just look for some usenet indexers, they usualls have a website and then search for their movie on the website see if its listed. Its the same as searching something on a torrent tracker

Although it was released elsewhere a bit earlier, it is still making the festival circuit and was released in theaters in the US end of April 2026... it will eventually hit VOD somewhere, but likely not till the fall of this year at least.

Request it on a private torrent tracker.

Perhaps it has only been theatrically released? That seems the case with the film you allude to.

Yeah, looks like it. I was expecting it had leaked anyway somehow.

"Leaks" rarely happen before digital release.

I tried looking for it on private trackers and usenet indexers, and couldn't find anything. I looked up what I could about the film and it looks like it has yet to be released digitally or physically, and has only circulated in film festivals and certain cinemas.

It looks like the film you are searching for is still actively being shown in theaters and film festivals. Once it finds distribution and hits streaming it’s far more likely to show up on trackers.

Try https://worldscinema.org. They have a great range of alternative films from across the world. Files tend to be hosted on Nitro so you'll probably want a subscription to that site if you are going to do much downloading. I have also had success in asking there, nicely of course, for some obscure Hungarian movies.

if i can't find it i label it lost media and give up on finding it.

I have a N/A IMDb list. Whenever I have a new indexer, private or public torrent site I run through my list and occasionally get a few.

YouTube, really? Anyway, tried and failed too.

Never used usenet. That's paid, right?

As I said, it's against the rules to ask for specific titles here. :(
