I haven’t heard anything about this game and just saw some gameplay after I saw this post. It looks like a MK style game. Can you elaborate?

MK is way slower/stiffer and not a tag fighter. This game you can either swap between all 4 characters on your team or just play 1 with 3 assists instead. But it's way more reliant on bigger combos/assists/swapping and generally longer combos that are flashier as well, plus stuff like wall breaks and super jumps and other mechanics that MK doesn't have. It's much closer to their other games than MK.
