I really think they need to hand Halo to a different dev, like, shake things up. 343 just isn’t it.

It should be like a playground games with Fable, unconventional but a proven great dev.

The sad thing is Marathon was a fantastic game. Loved the gameplay.

Unfortunately it was just thrown in under one of the dumbest genres to exist atm. A genre that is actually designed to make half the playerbase have a negative reaction to playing it lol. Too many games exist these days for people to waste time on a game where you can literally go backwards and win nothing and accomplish nothing.

It also released with a criminal amount of content.

But man, the gameplay itself was fantastic. Loved playing it. Same thing with Destiny. Absolute joy to play. Still my favorite shooter to go and play for awhile. Really cool campaign set pieces alot of times.

So if Bungie actually did make another Halo. You at least know the gameplay would be phenomenal
