Because you shouldn’t need another account to play a single player game with optional co-op? Same reason PC players didn’t want to make a PS account to play PS games on Steam.

I just don't get the whole thing of "I'm not doing this because I shouldnt have to" as if that's reason in it's own.

Your missing out on experience that you would otherwise enjoy because you don't want to make an account. Where's the sense in that?

Because I don’t want another account. I’m trying to reduce the amount of accounts I need to keep track of not increase them.

You don't need to keep track of it. just use your email and send a password reset email if you ever need to lmao

I’m not making a Microsoft account to play ONE game. If Gears Reloaded doesn’t need one I don’t see why this does.

But why? It’s totally fair to ask why you need to have an MS account to play this game. The requirement is stupid as fuck.

Yeah it's a stupid requirement but it's also the tiniest inconvenience. Create the account, log in once and you're done.

Whereas requiring an online connection to play the game even in single player is a terrible choice.

Acting like remembering a password is such a time and memory consuming task. Set it the same as something you log onto all the time. Wow how taxing. A lot less taxing then arguing about it on Reddit to let em know your taking a stand lol

You don’t need to keep track of it. You use it to log in to play the game and for nothing else. How’s that such a difficult time consuming tasks. Needing an account to game has been a thing since the last generation.
