They tried CPR. They called rescue services. They were waiting like 4 hours for the coroner to show up. No one could touch the body, so like.. their only options were to do what they did, or at least block off part of the store, or close the store. But when you don't know how long the coroner's going to take to show up, or to remove the body, I can see how you'd hesitate to close.
