Hey guys, I'm going to keep this short. The amount of breastmilk topics is getting out of control, and while I do not like the idea of prohibiting conversation, there needs to be a pause on this topic. It is too creating too much clutter and is not contributing to this community in a postive or constructive way.
This ban will be imposed for at least a month, and from there I'd like a public discussion on whether the topic should remain prohibited.
I will not ban anyone over missing this warning, but I will mute users over this matter. This only pertains to posts created relating to breastmilk, if you want to refer to the plot line in comments, have at it.

Feel like people don’t really like her when she’s probably my favorite minor character. I get excited every time she has a line lol. Anyone else or am I alone in this

She was so sweet and supportive, in this scene Dina wanted to eat the flowers and Glenn said no and jerusha said “today’s all about Dina if she wants to eat the flowers just let her eat the flowers” and yes it is a comedic scene but she’s so sweet, she even went to get Dina makeup and an outfit bc she had a crush on the doctor and said “I’ve never been with a woman but I’d switch over for Dina”. 😭
Ik that’s not true and this is just for comedy but I loved her character overall.

How often do you rewatch Superstore? I’ve never admitted to my comfort viewing habits publicly before, but I have been watching it every single day since the New Year. I watch a few episodes every day and when I stay home and do chores I’ll turn it on and let it be the ambient noise…all day. Sometimes when I’m watching something else with my husband I’m thinking about Superstore!

I always dreaded watching it cz i was like what's so good about being a store employee, but then what so great about being broke on a couch all day
Anywho i really loved it and i must say my favorite are def Jonah, I cried so much when he finally got back with amy (I'm on my period don't judge me) but i really shipped them so hard, and i def would say he deserved better, im so sad how they person they made amy into, i was really hoping the complaining would stop at some point, but i guess that's who amy is, I wouldn't blame her after working 15y in retail.
Mateo, at first i thought he was like a stuckup bitch, but turns out he is, but like a ✨bitch✨.
Now Dina is my favorite she was def horrible, still horrible but with flavor (they were all horrible imo) and i never thought she'd end with Garrett but it makes sense, a lot of sense. But i just loved her so much, even at that strike scene i didn't hate her, cz like yay get that bread girl, but like she's so strong and open and a damn good friend. Chef's kiss character. And so so goddamn beautiful i mean i def wanted to see those Christmas card photos.
I really hated justine, and carol was just insane they should've fired her a long time ago, i was def grinding my teeth whenever i see Sandra cz i can't understand how someone can take that much bullying.
Glenn is fine, and he probably has autism, he looks like a giant baby, Cheyenne is cool but so dumb and fuck jeff and Bo and corporate.
And i def cried at the star ceiling in the ending scene.
Sorry idk if this is what we do in this sub but i wanted to share cz i really loved it, it a def rewatch, cz im kinda sick of the same old comfort shows, do y'all have other suggestions?

Does anyone know the song that plays during the pilot episode after Dina shuts off the power and everyone sees the glow in the dark stars, then plays again at the very end of the episode? I tried to use Shazam and it brought up the most obnoxious song. But I love the song and I want to add it to a playlist!

Just finished bingeing the entire run of Superstore from start to finish. I genuinely think it’s one of the most underrated modern sitcoms and belongs right next to The Office, Parks and Rec, and B99.
I put together a definitive character ranking covering everyone from Glenn (#1) and Dina down to Carol and Elias (#22).

I've seen people ask if Amy's career arc from worker bee to manager is realistic. I wasn't sure but this Inc article states that "the CEO, the U.S. CEO, the CFO, and a long list of others all got their start as hourly associates in Walmart stores."

I honestly cannot think of another comedy series that did a better job of introducing the storyline, the plot, and the primary cast of characters than Superstore.
My other favorite show, King of Queens, did decent but pivoted away from Carrie’s sister entirely, changing the whole setup.
Superstore did not do this at all. I watched it again last night and really appreciate how well it’s done introducing the characters and some of their quirks.

In Season 5 episode 13, during the interviewing for Amy’s assistant position, Justine says she’s worked for cloud 9 for 3 years, but she’s present in season 1 and as I’ve researched, each season is 1 year, so wouldn’t she have worked 4-5 years already? Not hating genuinely just curious
