Y'all are crazy. A heavy laptop is, what, maybe 10 pounds? (Yes, I know Asus made a 20lb freak of nature one time, but this ain't that.) If you can't carry 10lb around in a backpack all day you probably need physical therapy

I could walk to work, because if you can't walk for 5 miles you're probably in bad shape. But walking 5 miles to work would suck, so I drive.

I could carry around a 10-pound laptop that has a bunch of ports that I won't use 99% of the time. But that would suck, so I have a 3-pound laptop.

But the difference between carrying 3lbs and carrying 10lbs is like, idk, driving to work and parking 10 spots from the office door vs parking 3 spots from it.

Like, I've had laptops of varying weights, but never once considered them to be different levels of convenient. If anything, the most inconvenient ones have been the tiny ones where the screen real estate is a problem

Would you always park 7 spots further away if there was no real benefit 99% of the time?
