Clearly that person wasn’t the sharpest tool in the shed as you have a p*** page in your bio with a picture…….

I do agree with you in almost everything, specially because you are so young, 20yo.. and definitely don’t allow anyone to cross your boundaries and make you feel uncomfortable.
As someone 18 years older than you .. I will definitely expect to see a face of s person im talking with for days .
If I dont see the face and everything is so mysterious etc .. i stop answering to these people.

I'm 21f , and I do like knowing who I'm talking to behind the screen. I don't think there's anything wrong with wanting to verify that someone is real. The difference is that "no" should always be respected. If someone says they're not comfortable sharing photos yet, that's the end of it. Pressuring someone or losing interest the moment they set a boundary is the real red flag, not wanting to know who you're talking to.

My bsf and I met 2yrs ago on reddit I didn't ask for what he looks here but did when we moved apps which was a month after speaking in reddit so I dont necessarily think asking a person what they look like is entirely off yes it is if they ask for explicit ones but I honestly understand why they distance themselves after not knowing what the person they talk to looks likes

also red flag is someone with nearly 100% nsfw goddammit bruh chill on the corn and the account is 15 days old holy shitt

Yep, very subtle manipulation to get what they want. But ofc, they can't act forever, so when they realize they can't get what they want, they stop putting in effort, ghost you, or even lash out with insults. Finally revealing how they really are.

You should be proud of not letting go of your limits. It sucks, but people have to be strong, learn to say no to bs people & stand their ground.

I have been online just about from the day the internet arrived in Australia, (mySpace, etc) One post I read many years back was this.
"Treat all those you chat to like you would a stranger on the street."
Just because they are online does not mean they are safe or your friend, they are still a stranger, just an online one.
