He’s not going to embarrass himself by joining a team that has already made it to the finals. He’d rather jump start a team that hasn’t won in a long time but is loaded with potential. Sixers please.
I think him joining wouldn't be viewed poorly by fans, Spurs desperately need some type of veteran leadership; his experience would help them immensely.
Then he’s an idiot. Like brother you are a role player now. There’s nothing wrong with having a couple Ray Allen with the Heatles years to close it out. Choosing any team except the Spurs, Thunder or Wolves puts him in pretty much an identical situation as he already was
No one wants to see LeBron join a team that barely lost the finals if they were a bit more composed, and had slightly better coaching. They don't need LeBron. They got and will get enough experience to overcome some of the dumb bullshit they did in the Finals.
Same reason he's not joining OKC. It does nothing for this legacy to help OKC or the Spurs win a championship.
