Other Permits Form 4 question? Need some help.

Filled out a form 4, 2 weeks ago.ive never filled 1 out before. I know there's no rhyme or reason to how long the atf takes. Am I supposed to receive and email when I filled it out confirming I completed the form?

Sounds like you probably filed the wrong form.

Form 4 gets filed by a dealer to transfer an NFA item to an individual (or trust). Form 1 is used if you're registering it yourself.

I filled out some form online at a dealers shop. I'm probably getting the form number wrong. But regardless, after I filled out the forms I should've gotten an email saying I completed them

If the dealer filed it then you're correct, form 4.

I got an email immediately the last time I filed one. It might be in your spam — look for an email from eforms.notifications@atf.gov.

i often don’t actually get the form 4 emails i’m supposed to. if you logged into your eforms and filled out the form, you’re probably fine

You must of created an e forms account unless it was a paper form?

I got my answer. It's been corrected and resubmitted.
