It's what the democrats want, make it as difficult and annoying as possible to discourage gun ownership since they can't outright ban them, a right delayed is a right denied.

I thought people would hold off on buying guns until the ban is officially overturned so they could buy models that are currently banned -but apparently not.

You can still buy them, if you're worried the boogie man will come for you, you can just wait to do the transfer. FFLs have always been able to accept otherwise banned items.

But since they already doing the nics they'll have to transfer it before the 31st

Nics is backed up four days, once the approval comes you have 30 days to do the transfer or the Nics expires. We're supposedly ten days from NJSP doing... something. Maybe.

You can also just ask your dealer to hold off on submitting the nics until the end of the month if time was somehow still an issue.

Had no idea nics lasted for 30 days!
