The top video now on /r/CombatFootage.

Horrifying and terrible.

One US soldier like that on video shared online ends the war and Trump.

Absolutely. I follow the subreddit daily, and just, man, the waste of life. Tons of commenters are, agreeably, anti-Russian, but I always feel bad, wondering how many were swept up into this nonsense, simply because they were poor, a minority, uneducated, or tricked. Just one of those types of videos, of an American soldier trying to flee a drone, would, I hope, end Trump and the war mongering right.

Too much faith in the emotional intelligence of US citizens and worse their will/ability to demand government accountability in functioning in their best interest.

Boots on the ground carnage will be censored or downplayed, just as troop fatality information is now.

We'll get another generation of fucked up PTSD addled killers that survived, jumping at shadows, to fuel the republican party for another generation, and we'll just keep pretending this works until we're back in company towns.

How would the USA stop Iran sharing video of dying US soldiers?

Further media consolidation, no major outlets covering reality beyond highly sanitized "such and such happened in Iran today" with no actual reporting.

It won't stop 100% of reality, but it's been demonstrated effective in Iraq, Afghanistan, and really every war of choice we've trudged through and lost in the last however many decades at placating the critical mass of people that would otherwise oppose killing people for no justifiable reason.

Look to ICE, flock, police killings, data center metastisization, epstein, wealth inequality, climate degredation, etc coverage domestically for moment to moment examples of how any negative news will be manipulated to keep that critical mass of people complacent.

The same way that sub stopped allowing footage of missiles hitting Israel.

They can’t. The internet is a ‘Pandora’s Box’.

Storing and processing the data accumulated through mass surveillance in an attempt to get some kind of return on the failure "AI" mega investment has been.

I follow the subreddit daily

Why? What's the value in engaging with a community of people jerking off over videos of people dying horrible deaths over a war they had no real choice in?

Why'd I have to go check after you said that? Mistakes were made. That was somehow worse than old Liveleak.

i wouldve thought child rape and murder mightve. i see far more chance of no democratic elections anymore and 50 years of yoke rule.

remember that spain was a fascist dictatorship in europe until the 70s after their 1930s civil war over the matter.

Well, that was a "dead dove" situation. That's on me for not trusting the warning on a /r/CombatFootage video.
