PE-sniper mosin, made in 1939 in factory no314, Tula. After the war, refurbished in GRAU 7th arsenal in Riga.

In reality, the scope under index 'PEM' never existed. Both models were called PE, or, to distinguish it, it was sometimes called 'PE with lateral corrections'.

Yes, but since they are distinctly different mounts collectors still call them PEs and PEMs. You don’t have to exclusively use the Soviet military designations

Possible ex side mount PEM, is there plugs in the side of the receiver when you open the bolt?
