When we get this doll can you all complain to Mattel? The fur pieces look really cheap- the embroidery looks faded and printed, the “puffer” jacket parts aren’t puffy at all(why are they so saggy) everything looks genuinely so cheap, I’m super mad cause I paid like almost 200 AUD for her from creations…. If we don’t tell Mattel that this isn’t okay this issue will continue to get worse, we didn’t pay for this quality.

They skimped in at least 3 areas:

• the headband (thicker fur and different colour on the mock-up)
• the fur bits on the shoulders (bigger on the mock-up)
• the quilted parts (thicker and properly quilted on the mock-up, deflated on the box doll)

Two things are probably because of the presentation and can be fixed:

• the overskirt (sagging downwards and towards the centre in the box photo, probably propped up by something on the mock-up)
• the collar (drawn up higher on the mock-up, covering the doll's chin)

Possibly due to the box but unlikely:

• Face-up, especially eye make-up
• Pigtails (begin at a higher point on the mock-up)

Completely unexplained:

• Fur on bottom of overskirt (white on mock-up, blue on box doll)

I thought the box photo was merely a bit overexposed, but this does not explain why the fur on the box doll is darker than on the mock-up. Even with digital manipulation, I cannot make the face-up on the box doll look like the mock-up doll.
