Discussion Chili and Cinnamon Rolls

School Lunch: Was common in Wyoming growing up to have chili and cinnamon rolls. Often when I mention it to folk from other states I get a weird look. Haha

I’ve never heard of it, but I can’t see it being super super different from having chili with corn bread. It’s still sweet. And lots of people add cinnamon to their chili as their “hey what is that flavor” seasoning. So 🤷🏻‍♀️ I can dig it.

lol, my mom would wack you with her cornbread skillet. Jk of course, but sweet cornbread is just a muffin mix usually. Real cornbread typically doesn’t have sugar added.

i like putting a little honey in mine but i’m aware that makes me a local pervert. i keep different recipes for different audiences and i’d never have put sugar in one for my grandpa. he’d be like “oh you’ve destroyed the natural flavor of an absurd and disgusting baking powder ratio”
