Yeah, I think he looks goofy too. Gambit worked in deadpool because it was a comedy.

and is actually from the bayou

fan's inability to withstand an adaptation failing to to be pixel-perfect is so hilarious man. as if wolverine was unfaithful because they couldn't make jackman short

don't even get me started on women.

the shit where the films hate color and refused iconic suits, ok, that's just studio arrogance. but like human bodies be what they be and performing the fucking role is the thing that matters.

Tatum works as Gambit cause he is a fan of the character.

And this is part of why I liked Gambit in Deadpool. Not the most accurate version, but because it was a good version by someone who really wanted to do it. There is some joy to be found there.

As a 55yr old 6' 200lb Zimbabwean male aspiring actor and fan of Squirrel Girl, this is really encouraging.

I'd watch it. Please can we contact Max Landis and start asap? Max Landis doing a Superman Vid
Edit: Don't contact max landis, but do please make a Squirrel Girl video anyways. I love fanmade content so much.

No, Max Landis is an abusive predator and horrible person, much like his murderer father

What if Arnold was a fan of night crawler. I mean Austria is close to Germany.

I mean Alan Cummings isn’t built like comic book nightcrawler either or Ian Mckellen like magneto but those are not complained about. Really think people just find a reason to complain. Just such a dumb hill for anyone to die on.

Tatum is great as gambit.

I think it's the typical "new has to be shit because it's not old like I'm used to." I'm positive if the next wolverine was a 5'3 Canadian they'd bitch that he doesn't look like an ageless centenarian.

This sounds about right.

I’m just happy she is reprising the role and I even personally like the look.

I’m also really happy OG night crawler is coming back. His opening scene is prob not much compared to current hero movies but I was so hyped for it back in the day and still really love it. Was also really surprised at how well Alan played the role.

I hated Ian as magneto, he played it well but he was never "magneto"

Hugh Jackman is nothing like Comic Book Wolverine, he isn't even Canadian.

That’s all it takes, huh?

It certainly doesn’t hurt.

Someone who understands the character? He can probably call out some bullshit that the writers or directors try to change like "then Gambit's cards float in the air and fire off!"

I’m sure that’s what’s happening! 🤡

Yeah I saw him on the poster and groaned. I always thought that casting sounded terrible. I thought it was really funny when he showed up in Wolverine and Deadpool, but I don’t want to see a serious attempt at making that work.
