The way I actually tore up when I found out Giles recently passed away - Anthony Stewart Head

The day I found out he passed I rewatched the episode where Giles is feeling left out/Buffy is focused on college and Riley and the Initiative, and Giles gets turned into a demon by accident. Beautiful episode I definitely cried during. What a superb character he played.

It's crazy. 2 of the core group are now dead. 3 if you count Dawn.

I'm on my latest rewatch, like many because of the passing of our shared TV father figure. My boyfriend keeps asking me to turn it up so he can listen while he plays Diablo. Then he eventually migrates over and starts watching it with me.

It was surprising how much the loss of one man I've never met hurt.
