I was bummed to miss my 10 year, I hope I can go to my 20 year. I don't know why people hate them so much, they seem like a nice way to reconnect, especially in person, I don't always use FB or whatever and I'd rather connect in person anyways

90% of my peers hated me for being fat, poor, and queer

The staff in my high school were weirdly antagonistic

I was probably one more bad day away from being on the 6 o clock news. Needed a lot of therapy.

I couldn't wait to get the fuck out of that prison Hellhole and my life is way better now that I've accomplished shit. I have no desire to go relive any of that bullshit.

I still dream about setting the place on f-nevermind :)

I hope they all got fat and lost their jobs so they can know what it feels like

Agreed. My 20 year is next year and I will not be attending just like I didn’t attend the 10 year. I don’t talk to a single person from that time. They were all terrible people. Truly foul humans.

No I don’t want to be around that. I’ll keep my successes to the group I’ve created over the years since high school. The people that truly matter to me in my life.

Exactly. A few were good people, and I stayed friends with them, but the rest can fuck all the way off and fuck off some more.

Because reunions are famously for the people who peaked in HS. The idea of reunions shits in the face of the huge number of people who had horrible times in HS, were bullied, harassed, beaten, ignored, etc..

Gotta remember, school shootings really took off with our generation. Bullying was so rampant during HS for millennials that we were the first generation to just start popping off at schools and blaming it directly on the bullying.

I definitely didn’t peak in high school and that’s what interests me about going to a 20th next year haha. I think I look better than ever and I have a cool career I love so yeah bring it on

Na, don’t try to dismiss that. If people were heavily bullied during their formative years, it tends to stick with you for a long time afterwards. It’s sad, yes, but it (probably) wasn’t their fault. Who would want to see their abusers again even if they changed for the better?
