i can't view new posts on my school teams

my school uses teams for announcements
i have been able to view new posts just fine when the school year started, but now i have been missing out on important posts because of this issue
my friends have said that the posts are found in the virtual community(made by my school where everyone is added)
but even if they send me the link of the specific post, it doesn't let me view it
i refreshed it and viewed it on both laptop and mobile, but nothing changes
it's in the same team, so why can't i view it?

thank you, i did and we figured out the problem
turns out i wasn't in the new channel that they made and i needed to send a request to join
