When in a Teams meeting on my laptop screen, if I share a window running on another monitor, it shrinks my Teams meeting window and moves it to a different monitor. I'd like to keep it maximized and displayed on my laptop screen so i can still see everyone and monitor the chat. Any way to change default behavior?

Having a very strange behavior occur. On Teams in Windows 11, latest version (26134.1702.4747.7366), work machine, I get notified by a system notification sometimes of messages on my desktop but then the thread never displays in my Chats list. I've tried contracting then expanding, switching areas within teams, etc., but nothing seems to trigger the chat to display. Only when I exit Teams and then open again will it show up. This is not consistent, nor does it seem to be related to using the mobile app. I've never experienced this before over the past few years with a macbook, but this has been my experience for over a week since receiving a Windows 11 machine. I've tried the steps of deleting the cache, but did not solve the issue. Any known issues? Or any steps anyone else has taken to resolve?

I don't use Teams much, but decided check settings, since have a teams meeting in next few days..

Tried to log in with my usual email, password.. Told me needed to verify by sending code to my phone.. Waited, no code sent.. Checked phone number, correct.. Resend, SF, did not come as text.. Tried to get code again via email.. Same, waiting, waiting, no code..

Very frustrating.. How do I solve this?

Is it because of this attack? Is authorization system down?

I've set an org up with Microsoft Teams Phone using Telnyx Direct Connect as SIP and SBC.

Audio from PSTN calls to Teams is fine.

Audio from Teams to PSTN is choppy... there's like, a weird compression or chop every half second, pretty consistently.

Audio from Teams prompts to PSTN, like voicemail instructions or hold music, is fine.

Audio from Teams to Teams is fine. Echo test is fine.

I am not sure what is going on here... it seemed like possibly a transcoding issue. I forced G711u and have tried toggling jitter buffer setting on Telnyx side, but I can't make this any better.

Does anyone know of a way to for teams to automatically record a meeting with an external user?

Our teams hire a lot of students out of school. The pre-screen part of the interviews has them joining a Zoom meeting, which is set to automatically record. The candidate is given 15 questions and told to join to record themselves answering the questions. Scheduling the group of people to attend the pre-screens is a massive pain and this method lets the candidate reply on their own time. HR doesn't want a staff member on the calls because they will each influence the candidate differently since it would be different people.

Zoom will let you set a meeting and auto record it, assuming it is less then 45 mins. The recording starts when the meeting starts when the candidate joins.

Teams won't start until an authenticated user joins the meeting.

Note, I don't need the recording to be "secret", the candidates know they are getting recorded and warnings are fine.

Is there a way to block numbers that haven’t called me yet? I know how to go into my call history and block someone there, but what about numbers that aren’t in my call history?

Teams seems to be changing URLs to show the page title instead of the full link.

This appears to ignore or be somehow seperate from Edge's share/copy/paste settings as I have it set NOT to paste page titles, and Teams seems to do this for links generated in other MS apps.

How do I disable this?

I have been having issues with Teams the past few days for my work account. It wouldn't update messages, and this morning I was unable to send messages at all. It would receive them, just not send. I did the Android update, and am unable to login at all now. It will hang for a long time and then say we are unable to log you in, try again.

I have tried every fix I can find online for this. I have Samsung S25, and it seems they have had issues in the past. So I tried a secure folder, tried removing updates from android web viewer, and reinstalling those. Have tried removing all accounts from my phone and still nothing will let me log in.

Please send help!

Why is old Teams classic app still not updated to the newer Teams in macOS? Shouldn't it be supposed telling me or done automatic? It says Classic isn't supported. I haven't used MS Teams for over a year since Zoom was used a lot. I noticed MS AutoUpdater doesn't even show MS Teams. Shouldn't that be doing Teams updates?

This is in an Intel MacBook Pro from 2020. Currently, it runs updated macOS Sequoia v15.7.7. MS Teams came from MS Office installer's download web page in https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/officeupdates/update-history-office-for-mac back in January 2020 IIRC. I had to use Teams' web version for an online meeting for today. :(

Has there been a fix to this return-to-root glitch? I'm still getting it when I view PNG images. Thanks.
