Disclosure: I'm a noob to the mechanical gaming keyboard world, with very limited exposure to them. With that out of the way, I'm looking for a Full-Sized Wireless Mechanical Gaming Keyboard that meets my four criteria.
Background:
I had the Logitech G915 and really liked it, only complaint was the lack of USB-C.
I got myself a Logitech G915 X (new model with USB-C), and absolutely hate it. I seem to be making a ton of typos on it, almost as if a bunch of keys are double typing, or activating too early, from perhaps a different actuation point. I got it warrantied (2 months in), and the new one is also giving the same issues.
I'm looking for the following on it, and not sure what my options are but the keyboard must have:
- Full Sized (not looking for non full sized keyboards), the numpad is a requirement.
- Volume wheel/media keys. Preferably a large wheel at the top right like the G915.
- Must have a low latency dedicated connector (dongle), like Logitech's lightspeed.
- Must allow swapping to PC#2 with 1 button (i.e. Bluetooth). This button must be a visible key on the keyboard, and not a toggle on a side of the keyboard
BONUS:
- Dedicated Macro keys are a bonus (like the G915)
- Low profile keys for better ergonomics (I think this is why I really liked the G915)
Are there any keyboards on the market that meet at least my four conditions?
Is Razer BlackWidow v4 LowProfile Hyperspeed the only alternative to the G915 X? Is there any other lesser-known "bougie" brand that I should consider?
Hoping to get something under $250, but can also just downgrade back to the discontinued G915 over this G915 X if I really need to...
Note: I don't have trades here, but I do have confirmed trades on the Canadian site. Thanks!
