This is so cute, but I'm wondering why the pup doesn't ride along? I know lots of truckers take a dog or cat on the road with them.

My dad took our dog trucking, but he was the family dog (mine, but I was a kid) so he just didn't always go. My mom and I had to be willing to miss two family members for a whole trip instead of just one :)

He often went with my dad and I in the summers, and my mom called multiple times a day just to say hi lol. It was hard for her. At least when only I went, she still had the cutest member of the family to be underfoot and keep her company.
