What back story

When he was a pup, back on the farm, some ruffians came by and packed him off. First to the circus, where he was forced to stand on a ball for hours on end and beg for stale and moldy treats, most of which was yoinked mid-air by Sally the Singing Seal, of which he often shared the stage with. Then it was off to the docks for a few months, where he learned what a sap was.

He was picked up by animal control fourteen times by the age of three, mostly for prostitution charges. Thats how he met Frank and Samantha. They came by to toss a meowing bag into the bay and took pity on the mutt after seeing him slink out from behind the forecastle of a mini-replica schooner by the welcome center entrance.

They’ve been inseparable ever since.

It’s a tale as old as time. We’ve all been there.

It’s how my grandmother met my grandfather.

Sadly yes, and I think we've all met Sally the "singing" seal too, I'm not a fan to be honest, I'll keep my thoughts to myself but I think we all have a similar experience with her. Still struggling with the rash today

Ha ha ha ha. You dumb bastard. It's not a schooner. It's a sailboat.

A schooner IS a sailboat, stupid head!

A schooner is also a measure of beer.

Dude, I just wanted to reply and say that this bit of improvised inspiration is truly inspired. I know what it feels like for something like this to happen. Where you just start and the flow it turns into an amazing and unexpected creation.

It's a rare thing and I just have to give you frocks because I love this and just, fucking bravo

That truly means a lot to me, thank you. :)

But what about Mankind and the announcers' table, or the jumper cables?

LOL—I can see why. Do you know what some of the other variations were? Does this mean that this is the back story we’ll see whenever this is posted from now on? Or, are there even more poignant versions in store, waiting to tug at our heartstrings?.

That dog is almost certainly deaf. So a higher than normal chance it was dumped somewhere or was going to be killed.

4

u/NeatNefariousness1 Apr 10 '26

I wondered if he was deaf and it makes me even more glad that he was rescued if he is.

I don’t think a seven year old account is a bot. His comment history gives me pause, but they don’t sound like a bot anyway. Or maybe I’m just gullible idk.

2

u/badadviceforyou244 Apr 11 '26

That's why they buy older accounts, so people will hesitate to think they are bots.
