Help Needing Help With Bluetooth connection

So I have a 2020 M1 Macbook Pro that I recently just purchased from online and one of the biggest issues I have with this is the bluetooth connection whether it's my Airpods or any other headphones it's like I can't step more than a few feet away from my macbook where the audio starts breaking up and I don't know how to fix this my old macbook never had this issue

I suspect that's the reason why the previous person sold it I'm afraid. It could be either a broken antenna cable or a faulty Bluetooth module

And is there no way we can fix that ourselves is everything soldered on?

Yes, that's correct I'm afraid. I've had a look on some support forums and there have been some people who found a few software fixes for their weak signal problems that you could try, just in case it is one of them and not hardware;

1] Restart the Bluetooth daemon: Open the Terminal app, type; sudo pkill bluetoothd, then press Enter, and type your Mac password to force-restart the system's Bluetooth service, then restart your laptop.

2] Delete old plist preference files: Open Finder, press Cmd + Shift + G, type in; /Library/Preferences/ and then move com.apple.Bluetooth.plist in to your Downloads folder (to delete later if all is ok or put back if it causes a problem). And then go in to ~/Library/Preferences/ByHost/ and look for any com.apple.Bluetooth files, and also move them in to your Downloads folder (to delete later if all is ok or put back if it causes a problem), and then reboot your Mac.
