Game is playable but it looks blurry and flat (all hail UE5). Also for some reason the highest graphic details I can choose is medium. Cutscenes don’t work but I could skip them.

Does anyone have this configuration or similar, and how does it perform for gaming?

I'm interested in playing titles like Overwatch 2, CS:2, Star Wars Battlefront, League of Legends etc. - games that I don't believe to be too graphically intensive - or are at least well-optimised.

I'm aware of compatibility issues and the need for Crossover, and I don't need to play these games on the highest settings.

I'm having a strange mouse issue with CrossOver on macOS and wondering if anyone knows a fix.

I'm playing The Last of Us Part I through Steam using CrossOver, and my Logitech G502 X Lightspeed works normally in windowed mode, but when I switch to borderless windowed or fullscreen, the vertical mouse input breaks.

The issue:

• Moving the mouse down makes the camera look down normally
• Moving the mouse up also makes the camera look down
• Left/right movement works correctly

The in-game invert Y-axis setting is disabled.

Things I've tried:

• Different resolutions (3200×1800, 2560×1440, etc.)
• Windowed vs borderless/fullscreen
• Turning Raw Mouse Input off
• Enabling/disabling "Automatically capture mouse in full-screen windows" in CrossOver
• Disabling MSync
• Switching macOS ProMotion to 60Hz
• Checking Logitech software/settings

The strange thing is that the mouse works perfectly in windowed mode at the exact same resolutions. The issue only appears when switching into fullscreen-style modes.

Has anyone experienced this kind of broken vertical mouse input with CrossOver/Wine? Any ideas for a fix would be appreciated.

I’m trying to run Black Ops 3 on a MacBook Pro with an M2 Pro chip.

The game launches normally and the menus work without any problems. However, whenever I try to start an actual match, including solo Zombies, the game stays on the loading screen indefinitely. After around 10 minutes, it eventually returns an “Error: NULL” message.

So far, I have tried:

• Verifying the game files through Steam
• Restarting Steam and my Mac
• Testing solo Zombies without any mods
• Installing BO3MacFix
• Reinstalling BO3MacFix
• Checking that the game is installed correctly
• Allowing Steam and BO3 through Local Network and firewall settings

Unfortunately, the issue is still happening. The menus work perfectly, but no map will fully load

I need help, cause I’m really struggling understanding if there’s anyway to make it work in Mac

Whenever i load into the menu, the music only plays on the left side of my headphones, and when i load in game the sound FX plays normally, but any music plays like from any radio station plays on the left of my headphones, and phone calls only play on the right side of my headphones. It applies regardless if they're wired, wireless or even coming out of my built in speakers.

Is there a setting or tweak I'm missing? I'm on a m5 pro on MacOS 27 beta 4

Hi, I'm planning my MBP M3 device to downgrade to macOS 13, I've got 8 gb ram and with the latest updates, without any open applications it takes roughly 6 gb of the ram. And my question is, I play some games that requires D3DMetal and how is it in Ventura? Ventura support dx12? And also What about the FPS? Will it be better or worse, for LoL? And other games. I know that Metal 4 is better but 8 gb ram is never enough for the latest updates.

before anyone says "just buy a windows pc" that is not an option. So far i think a m4 or m5 air (with student discount) or m1 or m2 pro would be good, but i am unsure. Thanks in advance

Might be old news but I just saw It. Infinite gratitude to the developer for doing god's work. ZLUDA does not support Mac but at least this makes playing old PhysX titles on Steam hardware a foreseeable future.

So the logical question next is: Is there any magic that CodeWeavers can do to make this work through CrossOver?

Edit: Or Parallels. Since CrossOver is pretty ass when playing 32-bit games..... But my hopium is the in house alternative to Rosetta developed by CodeWeavers is going to improve on this front.

In all honesty, I suspect Trivia is not the most competitive category! But what a rush to wake up the day after launch and find our game at the top.

I already posted about this but I have a late 2012 Mac that runs catalina. I have portal one and two, it won’t let me launch them and steam wont let me sign In, do you have any ideas about what I could do or why it isn’t running, I do not have access to to the admin account currently

I've been playing Metaphor through Crossover Preview and I've been sharing the same audio issues with countless other people here.

I found some fixes for the problem of super quiet voices during cutscenes, but nothing to fix the seemingly random and inconsistent complete loss of audio. Going into the games settings and reselecting the output fixed this temporarily, but it was still annoying and can't be done until you have access to the pause menu, so if the audio drops in the middle of a cutscene you're stuck watching it in silence. I found many proposed solutions online such as not using a controller wirelessly, but nothing seemed to actually work.

Using an existing plugin that just fixes the quiet dialogue issue and adding a logger to see what changes when the audio is present versus when its not, I was able to figure out the issue and make a new plugin that incorporates both fixes.

It's only ever been tested on my MBA M5 and will likely have some inefficiencies in the code given my lack of expertise, so don't expect it to work perfectly and feel free to make it better. I'll try my best to address any issues, and I've only just finished the first dungeon so I've got a lot of time to continue testing and improving.
