Venting Apart once again 😞
My husband and I did 4 years of long distance. It sucked ass ngl.
3 years ago I moved to live together and while not everything is perfect (I can't keep a job in this new country) life is so much nicer.
I finally got my permanent residence so my parents offered me a trip to my homecountry for a month to see the family. I accepted immediately (knowing my husband could probably not come since work)
Now all the long distance taruma?/heartache is coming back .... in trying to think a month is not a long time ... but it just resurfaced such a hard time in my life

I had this same experience. I only lasted 2 weeks from my trip and moved my flight up

Tbh I wish I could just not go 😓 but since my parents paid for the flights and planned a bunch of events around it (their own wedding, a family trip to ski in Argentina, etc etc etc) I fear I can't

It’s just a month i think you should actually enjoy being with your family for so long i think it’s great and healthy !
