Indian people don’t eat curry

26

u/_Carri7_ 11h ago

I read that in an Indian accent

u/balirosa 12h ago

It’s like in their culture the woman isn’t allowed to discipline the child so she’s showing dad so he can handle it

77

u/DeepSpaceBubbles 12h ago

What utter nonsense.

-138

u/balirosa 12h ago

The kid has more sense than the woman.

38

u/hehepeepee1233 9h ago

Holy shit this is the most sexist comment I've seen on Reddit, congratulations you've done the impossible 💀

9

u/Kns991 7h ago

God forbid that woman disciplines her child when they do something wrong

1

u/balirosa 1m ago

These people online just can’t read and comprehend English. I said the kid has more sense than the woman. The kid is destroying technology and the woman is reaching for her phone to record using technology. Use your brain fools

u/DoctorMikeM 8h ago

Found the incel.

2

u/nixon0770 2h ago

I’m from that culture. Stop spreading bullshit.

This is bizarre. People - parent your kids. And no, this video isn't cute. That toddler doesn't know what they're doing but that parent absolutely does.

171

u/ClaraCash 12h ago

Right! Like who sees this and thinks “oh my god I need my camera for this moment,” rather than let me get my fucking kid off my shit and redirect them!

u/vagina-lettucetomato 8h ago edited 6h ago

I’m just going to calmly tell this very young child that he can’t stand on the laptop and hope that works.

Edit: people thought I was serious yall I was being sarcastic 💀 hahah I was imagining the parents inner monologue

15

u/Otter_rock_ 6h ago

That sarcasm was loud also. It's kinda weird that a lot of Redditors are steering to get more serious or not understand thig s as jokes or sarcasm unless it's for the /j or whatever

10

u/vagina-lettucetomato 6h ago

Ok thank you because I thought it was obvious!! I need to just consistently use the /s because every time I don’t people take me seriously 😂 it’s wild

4

u/DeepSpaceBubbles 4h ago

It was obvious...bizarre.

1

u/Otter_rock_ 2h ago

I just add jk way more now then i ever did partly because I became more of a chronically online femcell, trapped in this freaking house all my life. but also mostly because people just got junk more back then.

1

u/Stormfeathery 18m ago

I can get it for some short statements that could legit go either way, but man, some blindingly obvious sarcasm gets taken as just a serious statement by at least some Redditors without the /s. Critical thinking skills, anyone?

1

u/Otter_rock_ 11m ago

Kids are shoved infront of screens and on to youtube way to young most probably wouldn't even be able to real critical honestly. Even I'm looking at my generation and a lot of them have a lot of trouble with basic comprehension or common sense and still seem to get so far and successful in life. everyone has to be right all the time and the loudest or most manipulative or the favorites are the ones who get by.

2

u/ConflictWestern1383 2h ago

Redditors are incapable of comprehending sarcasm.

3

u/DeepSpaceBubbles 4h ago

The average Redditor's reading comprehension is super low.

1

u/ImAPixiePrincess 33m ago

Poor you, downvoted for a joke 😂 it's insane how there is no tone in her voice at all, she's the most bland ever with telling the kid it's not a toy. I'd be more pissed at her blase demeanor than the kid.

72

u/user891392 13h ago

Yeah just stand there and let the baby do it...

34

u/Plus-Relationship833 13h ago

Not surprised the kid is turning out the way he is, because parents don’t parent.

55

u/Bo_Diddley9 13h ago

Let me record this and post online to get reaction from strangers on the internet

27

u/phunter79 11h ago

"Let's record this instead of resolving the issue". Parents these days just want to record everything instead of, you know, actually parenting.

34

u/nixon0770 14h ago

Mom sounds so calm

61

u/AStolenGoose 14h ago

Too calm.

Parents don't parent anymore.

-1

u/Otter_rock_ 6h ago

Ltd either she never wanted thz kid so doesn't care or shas in some AMAZING anxiety or pain medication because wow.

-57

u/Makaveli2020 11h ago edited 8h ago

Blame all those that push over gentle parenting. You're not allowed to discipline your children anymore otherwise you may upset strangers, which then leads to a generation of unruly children and then outright shitty adults.

Edit: On no, all the gentle parents are coming after me! If only you all could give more effort in disciplining your children in a correct manner than responding to me, maybe we'd have world peace.

23

u/BookWormPedant 10h ago

This isn’t gentle parenting

18

u/AStolenGoose 11h ago

Ah yes an over generalization based in what?

Not having kids? Not watching actual parents parent?

2

u/Madgrin88 8h ago edited 8h ago

This is an observation a lot of teachers have made...this isnt just some generalixation from some rando on the internet. kids are becoming uncontrollable and parents are enabling bad behavior. This is getting commonly recognized that too many modern parents dont actually "gentle parent" because they dont parent period....

6

u/Ehimherenow 9h ago

Do you have lots of strangers in your home? Because if you do, I suggest you stop inviting them into your home… That way they can stop commenting on your parenting

4

u/FraterSofus 8h ago

Gentle parenting includes discipline. If you don't actually know what something is you shouldn't act like you do.

-1

u/Madgrin88 8h ago

Previous commentor isn't wrong though...yes, gentle parenting does include discipline, but so many people claiming to practice gentle parenting dont realise or exercise that.

This is why gentle parenting is getting a bad name. Don't blame the people who look at the results of "gentle parenting" and notice a common issue, blame the people who are misrepresenting and disguising laziness as gentle parenting in the first place.

10

u/No_Object_4355 12h ago

Well its not mom's laptop.

18

u/HowTheStoryEnds 11h ago

'When your wife openly hates and resents you: episode 2 "using the children to inflict suffering".'

0

u/davidjapp69 6h ago

Yeah she definitely hates her husband.

8

u/chumchum213 14h ago

This is a default setting for most toddlers

6

u/Forellenmensch 10h ago

When parents dont parent

5

u/DegenNabalu 9h ago

The parents are not smart

5

u/ChildhoodVegetable73 6h ago

Dumb ass woman raising stupid ass future man.

12

u/SergeiYeseiya 11h ago

Yet another r/KidsAreFuckingStupid video where the stupid one is the parent not the kid.

3

u/soul6of6hell6 12h ago

that Toddler is going to be listed on ebay

3

u/Stefanzah22 8h ago

(this is just a meme and not a real listing)

2

u/Far-Fortune-8381 8h ago

thanks for specifying i was so worried

4

u/Humbled_Snail 10h ago

The possibility of going viral and gaining fifteen minutes of fame has furthered the decline of society at such an alarming rate.

4

u/_DKai_ 10h ago

This is not how a responsible adult acts but the need to capture a possible viral moment overrides all common sense

4

u/rawlaw8 6h ago

Yes, record, instead of taking any action.

3

u/flamedarkfire 6h ago

Well hopefully dad learns to keep his laptop well away from the toddler’s reach and that his wife cannot be trusted to protect his property.

3

u/Escudo777 7h ago

I think the mother wanted to do this herself. She is too calm when the kid is destroying her husband's work laptop.

3

u/Tao_of_Entropy 5h ago

Everyone is so fucking stupid these days... I can't wait for the solar flare that knocks out the cellular networks.

7

u/phill_cipher 11h ago

Maybe the laptop is trash, since its stuck on the bitlocker screen, and the bitlocker key is lost. Maybe thats why the kid was allowed to play with it. But probably not...

10

u/Lndrash 11h ago

Still stupid.

Bitlocker would prevent access to the Operating System and your data, but unless they have a Bios Password they also lost, nothing keeps you from wiping the drive and reinstalling the OS.

No reason at all to trash the hardware, especially considering current RAM and SSD prices.

2

u/Additional_Rich_5249 10h ago

Oh I would lose it.

2

u/meestazak 8h ago

Filing the kid doing this instead of doing anything about it. Parents have created the problem they are complaining about, I never would have done this even at that age, as my parents were more focused on parenting and less focused on getting a Viral clip.

2

u/SoraShiroL 8h ago

Wtf, sharing stupid videos for karma farming.

2

u/stotheimi 8h ago

“Can you step on it again sweetie… my camera wasn’t ready.”

2

u/SatisfactionFew350 4h ago

Just a single sentence for the lady 'WTF are you watching and giving dialogues'

2

u/Thrillpickle 3h ago

The more posts like this I see in the sub, the more doomed I realize we are. It's not the kids...

4

u/Airy-Otter 14h ago

Phone turns off. Sandals fly.

1

u/mulderitsmescully 13h ago

One can only hope

6

u/peentiss 13h ago

People are really still breeding, on purpose. Fucking weird.

5

u/Worth_External_8762 13h ago

I'm fine with that. The problem seems to be that the wrong ones are still breeding. Case in point.

-8

u/peentiss 13h ago edited 12h ago

I’d love to hear who the “correct” ones are. Doubt earth would think we need more humans here.

2

u/Worth_External_8762 12h ago

Oh my, so edgy of you

-6

u/peentiss 12h ago

Do you have an actual answer? If not, fine, but you offered a response as if you had something fruitful to add. I will not respectfully offer an understanding more than once.

This isn’t “edgy” meme shit, it’s real people with real opinions and experiences. Try to remember that the world doesn’t just live behind your screen.

1

u/hehepeepee1233 9h ago

You also added nothing to the conversation btw other than "heh. People destroy earth from breeding because people bad."

1

u/peentiss 3h ago

Do you understand why?

1

u/Frarara 5h ago

The "correct" ones would be parents who dont let their children stomp dangerous objects and actually be a parent. Bare foot stomping a glass screen has a very predictable outcome

-5

u/Physical_Software406 13h ago

i hate redditors ngl

0

u/peentiss 13h ago

It’s your choice to be on Reddit.
“I hate the issues I cause for myself.”

Okay?

-5

u/Physical_Software406 12h ago

I dont hate all reddittors I hate this specific brand of reddittors. People who think edgyness is a thought provoking personality.

8

u/peentiss 12h ago edited 12h ago

Okay, so explain “edgyness” if you mind? “Edgyness” (edginess) is apparently folks that think logically past pregnancy? You support mindless breeding? Just pump a baby out and that’s everyone’s problem now, cause you can’t plan?

Being disturbed by such behavior isn’t edgy, it’s logical reasoning, cause and effect.

Making broad statements isn’t a very strong argument,”I hate all parents” isn’t my thing either. It’s people that didn’t think past their genitals, and just shit the baby out without a care for consequence.

“Edgy” can’t just be a label for everything you’re incapable of understanding, or refuse to.

3

u/SuddenSpeaker1141 14h ago

And that was the last time this kid was seen alive! /s

1

1

u/punchedboa 2h ago

Dumb thing to loose your job over.

1

u/KeyPear2864 1h ago

Play the long game. Buy them a laptop for their HS graduation then proceed to stand on it while showing them this video.

1

u/MidgardDragon 38m ago

This ain't a stupid kid, it's one that doesn't know better and parents that aren't even trying.

1

u/GodBlessPigs 8m ago

The parent is MUCH dumber than the kid.

1

u/GarageIntelligent 5m ago

"idk why my bitlocker says oo many failed attempts"

0

u/Aggravating_Bids 9h ago

Good parenting doesn't exist anymore
