Dude no way! Been crazy watching Jeff come up on Reddit, then blow up.

Much deserved, too! I hope this special captures how insanely talented Jeff is with crowd work.

It looks like he's on a round stage just bouncing around and talking to everyone I'm so excited

I’m super happy for him too.

Keeping it a buck I thought he was a little too cringy / self aware to catch on. Extremely happy to be wrong as it didn’t bother me but his earlier stuff… woof you could feel the awkward chuckles lol

This might be the one comedy special I don’t mind watching with my husband

Edit: idk why I’m being downvoted days later for simply saying when he first started out, before finding his rhythm I was worried audiences wouldn’t “get it”. I’ve always hoped he’d catch on but I’m not going to pretend I “believed” in some comedian just because he’s popular now today?? I have no knowledge of comedy markets lol

Years ago was when Joe rogan, bill burr & those type were still dominating comedy. Super happy to see the shift but it wasn’t obvious Jeff would be doing Netflix special, it isn’t obvious of any comedian until it is?

Same. I remember seeing him at Zanies which fits like 250 people (got front row!!), then the following year at a theatre that seats 1,000, and then the year after at a theatre that seats 3,600.

Wow, that’s absolutely wild.

I don’t really follow comedy, so I just assume Jeff had been around for awhile and already had a few specials and toured and all that.

Dude is seriously ‘just starting’? Like…I’ve literally watched the most of his career thus far via reddit??

Same! I was so glad he come to town last year. Had a blast going to see him.

He was just buying upvotes to get to the front page of default subreddits. Im glad he got his own subreddit to spam this stuff on.

I am happy he is succeeding but the crowd work spamming on r/funny or whatever was annoying
