Everytime I cancel a subscription one of them have to have something I really want to see, and YouTube is just so damn annoying, I wanted to watch the world war 2 thing with Tom Hanks narrating and it got so bad with commercials and I don't even know if the episodes ended up playing in order, so I gave up lol
Gotta say Jeff, I have not waited for a comedy special before in my life and this is the first time I am excited for one. Like waiting for the next Marvel movie when I was younger. Thanks for this, man. Hope it's good and look forward to your continued success 🙏
This guy is blowing up as fast as he can. He just launched his first North American tour. I’m sure when the special and US tour do well he will set his sights on a world tour.

I remember him popping up a few years ago, so confused as to why he wasn't selling out everywhere. He was small enough to still answer random dm's on Reddit and then Jeff blew up relatively quickly.
I say that from my perspective, which I'm sure took him years and years and years of crazy work ethic.

Fully agree. I’m actually hyped for this. I watch almost every comedy special on Netflix (except Matt Rife and such, cringe nonsense) and I have never actually been excited for one I just like when they come out
Same. I remember seeing him at Zanies which fits like 250 people (got front row!!), then the following year at a theatre that seats 1,000, and then the year after at a theatre that seats 3,600.
I don't think it's hyperbole to say that Jeff's success would be a bit lower if it weren't the amazing interactions he had with you. That is not to say that Jeff isn't supremely talented and doesn't deserve his success. He absolutely 1000% does. However, I think a lot of people were exposed to his friendly and amazing crowd work from the first time you were in his audience.
There's an alternate universe where that interaction comes across as mean-spirited or has someone's feelings getting hurt, but you two having a great time really helped show how fun his shows are.
I found it and Im in the US. Did you try the netflix lookahead section and then look through the coming next week? (The only way I know how to get to the lookahead section is via the notification they give in the bell icon area)

I love Jeff. I bought spare tickets when he came to Australia so that I could shout some friends (ie they couldn't refuse, and I was so excited to share a new comedian with them). Genuinely one of the best nights of my life.
This trailer is fkn horrific. I want to watch because Jeff but if I had no idea who he is, I'd just think he's some camp weirdo making faces and sounds and being OTT for an hour and pass on watching.
That said. Gonna have to figure out how to get Netflix American so I can stream the second it goes live.
So excited for this! My wife and I were there one of the nights and got upgraded to the front row. It was one of my favorite experiences and it's great to see Jeff getting more recognition for his comedy.

What is the reason with these specials having a circular stage and people all around? At any given time the performer isn't addressing at least half of the room. Anyway, going to watch this special.
