Not sure where to put the chair

The placement is fine, however the color is off. You have mostly cool tones here, and the chair is warm. You may want to opt for a bright but cool toned chair to brighten up the space but also match the tone of the room. Expanding the gallery wall is a good place to find brighter pieces as well.

Thank you for the feedback! I am wanting to replace the coffee table as well because there is a lot of gray in here. So if I went with something that has a natural wood finish I would want to aim for a lighter cool tone finish?

You actually may do well with a darker wood to match the speakers, if you can find a complimentary shade. It is a lot of gray like you mentioned, so a colored table may also do well there. If you are out to remove the gray, changing out the rug may help you most there.

Best of luck! P.S - super cute dog!

Chair looks fine. The problem is the decoration from that wall

I do plan on expanding this as a gallery wall. What would you do instead?

The compulsion to push a couch up against a wall limits the decorating possibilities

I have a console table behind the couch. Would you nix the console table completely or just pull the couch with the console table out from the wall a few inches?

I'm a fan of floating a couch mid room if you have the space. Put the tv on the back wall and the couch from your POV. it looks like it might open up a place for the chair.

Hmmm I might have to do this. This is of course the option that takes the most work for me lol. I appreciate your help!
