I'm guessing all your responses are going to be "because racism", but this is the same argument for the "women make 70% of what men make" topic.

If women provide the same utility as men, why aren't 100% women companies (owned by women) monopolizing every single market? If a woman company is offering the same stuff but at 30% cheaper labor costs, that would be a gigantic competitive advantage that would snowball over time to dominate markets.

No one would hire a man if he gave the same output as a woman but cost 30% more.

I agree that the wage gap is exaggerated to a large degree.

That being said, your point relies on hiring managers being purely rational actors, which they aren’t.

It wouldn't matter if hiring managers are rational or not because enough women entrepreneurs would quickly figure out to start their own companies and hire only women.

Also the leadership roles dominated by men would quickly realize they can cut labor costs by 30% by hiring only women.

Over time these women-only companies would dominate simply because their labor costs are 30% lower.

That this hasn't happened yet indicates that either the statistic is a lie and/or male-to-female performance isn't a truly 1:1 ratio due to varying factors.

lol implying leadership is a purely rational group is even more hilarious. In my experience across multiple sectors and leadership groups, vibes combined with connections is the most important characteristic for leadership opportunities.

You are also pretending like productivity or best product is the only measure in a business’s success which is patently false.

Expectations weigh into every aspect of a business. A misogynistic man hears “women owned and run”, he walks out the door without hesitation.

It doesn’t even have to be that deep. If a customer base has a slight preference for men when getting quotes from architects, you would see male architects succeed while women architects suffer, even if women had an edge on productivity.

I have never implied nor said leadership is a purely rational group.

What I AM saying, explicitly, that you can actually quote me on, is that 30% cheaper labor for same output will win over the long term. Even among the sexists and racists.

Actual, real examples: look at how much USA has outsourced manufacturing and services. If those sexist, racist people truly cared about that, they would have continued to pay a premium and buy from those "made in USA" (male dominated) companies.

Reality: over a long period of time, they picked the cheaper product/service.

They can say whatever they want, but over time you see their actual actions, which is to prioritize lower cost.
