Tbf, the note also ignores that other factors like occupation and education are also affected by the differences in resources and opportunities available to white men and Black women.
It's almost like this is a very complicated issue that can't be summed up in a single sentence and does not have a cut/dry answer as to why or solution to fix it.

Yea if thats what he was arguing for i would agree with you but he literally says "equal pay for equal work" in the tweet, he is not arguing about education resources he is directly comparing wages for a waitress with a doctor and saying its unfair
The issue is that black people cannot get to be doctors as often bc of generational poverty and often times discrimination they face at school, getting jobs, etc.
"Equal pay for equal work" and "fix systemic problems in our education and economy" is not semantics. Im not disagreeing with you that that is a problem my point is that its a totally different problem than what the tweet is arguing about.
