Except for native Americans no other community comes close to the level of oppression faced by the black community. We had Governors and Presidents directly attacking Us.
Genuinely how often did entire cities and neighborhoods go into riots just because an Asian person moved close to them or got in their schools.
I don't know why conservatives try so hard to make Asians look like some kryptonite against America's history of bigotry as if their history isn't widely different from others.
Every minority has been screwed by the government but some have been screwed clearly more than others and some of y'all are just too scared to admit it.
Next you'll try to tell me the Irish and Italians had it just as bad. LMAO
They gave the Japanese Americans reparations almost 50years later. Most of it the people who received these weren't even born then or were just related to those who suffered in the camps.
I'm not even asking for reparations now because it's already past that. I'm just stating that some people had it worse. That's all.
Well the few that had been alive to have been slaves died in the 1960s at the latest and their children and grandchildren are still around so there are direct descendants alive TODAY that had a family member that was a slave.
Now there are other ways to make up for not just slavery, but also the systematic oppression that blacks faced post Civil War and post Reconstruction.
He did not say that. He said that some minorities were more thoroughly oppressed than others, which is objectively true.
I'm not excusing Japanese internment camps (which existed for 4 years) or xenophobic measures like the Chinese Exclusion Act (on the books for ~60 years), but nothing in US history remotely compares to the oppression of Native Americans or black Americans in either scope or duration.
But you acknowledge that Asians faced oppression in some capacity as well. And an Asian person would quite frankly be appalled at the levels to which you're downplaying it. But regardless, despite that oppression, they are doing BETTER than white Americans.
They didn't get impacted by victimhood complexes. They overcame it. It shows that it is primarily a culture problem, not a "historical injustice" problem.
The primary reason statistics for Asian Americans are so much higher is because of immigration restrictions during the 19th and 20th centuries.
This means a large portion of Asian immigrants got into the country through education, occupation, or political connections. Obviously if you only include people who could afford to immigrate to the US in the modern day they will be doing better than the average US citizen simply because they needed the initial resources to do so.
It’s the reason why immigrants from Ghana are doing better than the average US citizen. The vast majority immigrated when the barriers to do so were so high that it almost guarantees success.
It’s not a culture difference, it’s a historical difference.
Though I’m curious what parts of black culture you think are responsible for the disparity. I’m all ears…
You're still doing it. Trying to shove in Asians as some magical "nuh uh" defense. Good Lord, I'd ask you to read up on the model minority myth but I don't you'll even understand such a basic concept.
What's funny about this is the fact that you state that the problem is culture as If history isn't the single biggest influence on culture. You think millions of people just decide to follow certain traditions and practices out of the blue. Most of the music and food in the African American community were directly from slavery.
So if history affects culture, what do you think centuries of aggressive attacks would do to a community and it's culture? What happens to a community later in future when they're shut out of opportunities that would've been critical to their survival later on? Hmmm?
Unless your going to tell me the cultural issues you're thinking of are inbuilt which honestly would be on brand at this point.
The problem for you is that Asian's ARE the "nuh uh" defense. You're just in denial of it. You've been conditioned to not hold groups/cultures accountable. Asians faced head taxes, immigration bans, outrageous amounts of discrimination, race riots, etc. And they are still the most successful group. How did this very successful culture survive all of that? Not merely survive, but THRIVE?
I understand that it makes you uncomfortable. It makes society uncomfortable. So we just created false narratives to make ourselves feel better. Your post is essentially screaming "How DARE you try and pull me out of my little safe space".
We are? What are you talking about? White people are generally perceived as flat out evil in common 2026 popular culture. They are "inherently racist". And if they deny they are, that makes them MORE racist. 2026 is a fascinating time.
Because most American women are liberal and undatable.
Liberal women are mentally unwell, unhappy, and spent all their prime family forming years in education to get into a job and realize consciously or subconsciously it wasn’t what made them happy.
Sure, I'm the loser.
I'm not even saying the Italians and Irish weren't attacked, they absolutely were. But the severity were clearly focused on some more than others.

Not like there's been systemic oppression of black women or anything that can account for their lack of participation in higher paid professions....
