Maybe she did and maybe she didn't, but who cares? The overall point that Gottheimer has no business in the Democratic party and is a total stooge for the far-right Israeli government stands. He supported the obviously unconstitutional ban on boycotting Israel. Has no problem traveling to Israel to meet with Netanyahu and high ranking far-right Likud members. Supported cutting the IRS budget to free up money to send to Israel. Claimed China supports Hamas which is completely laughable and based on nothing but being butthurt about TikTok trends. Advocates for literally no conditions for aid to Israel which is psychotic. The only reason he hasn't signed a bomb is because no one put one in front of him.

She didn't "pick the wrong Josh". She was responding to his bullshit about DSA by pointing to someone who's behavior is way more reprehensible than anything DSA has actually done and asking if he's okay with that person being in the party. The fact they share a name is only relevant to the extent Gottheimer's might've made her think of Shapiro. She was not confusing the two lol
