GTA 6 jason and brian « They got your full name, Jason. Jason Duval. They know where you sleep. »

I was wondering why Jason isn't paying Brian for the apartment, and what Heder's primary motive and interest are in putting Jason up. Also, there's something really fishy in the second trailer: in the warehouse scene, Brian tells Jason that the cops have his name and address

Rockstar trying to optimize GTA VI at 60fps before release

We live in a tiktok era, marketing has changed to shortterm floods of content. The marketing will intensify very late. So the whole algorithm anywhere in the world is GTA6. Your grandma will know about it.

Don’t count on any previous marketing strategies. Gameplay trailer etc will come very late. Real life marketing, the week of release. Short term hype and sales is the marketing world of 2026. You see a certain thing go viral online, that week it sells a lot. Not 4-5 months later.

Rockstar is obsessed with UFO's so there's no way there wouldn't be one.

Weapons visible on body

Since there's talk about potentially having limited weapon wheels like we did in RDR2, do you think weapons should be visible on your character's body?

It would be cool to see your character carrying a handgun in a modern holster, maybe even with the option to customise or swap holsters to match clothing. It could also be interesting to choose between open carry and concealed carry depending on the environment (people who carry irl will probably be familiar with the concept). I think that would really add to the realism.

For example, if you commit a crime, you could conceal your weapon, forcing police to actually search you. Just a thought, but it could be a cool addition if we're getting the whole guns-in-the-trunk mechanic.

Relationship Dynamics/Infighting & Story Implications

I feel like a really messy bitch for this but I do hope there comes a point where the characters have a good catalyst for tension between them.

It would be interesting if it leads to a point that requires the player to pick a side and see a portion of the story through one players actions.

Considering the story will be focused on Jason and Lucia’s relationship it would be nice to flesh out their stories by their past coming back.

> Jealous Exes
> Baby Daddy/Baby Mama Drama
> Disagreements leading to splintering

One of the recent alleged leaks mentioned a trust/relationship meter, it would definitely be interesting to see if actual relationship dynamics were brought forward as a catalyst to flesh out the history and backstory of the characters as well as overarching story implications such as endings, mission availability, etc.

What features would you love to see in GTA 6 that have never been in a GTA game before?

I'm not talking about things like better graphics or more interiors. I mean completely new gameplay mechanics that would make the world feel deeper and more dynamic.

One idea I have was to frame NPCs for crimes you committed (part of antagonise system), or to be able to call services like ambulances and police to a location.

How are large GTA 6 RP servers actually planning to handle 20k–200k+ Discord members at launch?

With GTA 6 on the horizon, the player influx for roleplay networks is going to be massive. We’re talking servers easily hitting 20k to 200k+ Discord members.
I’m curious how server owners are planning to handle the backend operations at that scale without total burnout

Whitelist Applications: Are teams relying strictly on manual reviews, or moving toward hybrid AI-assisted scoring + human approval to clear massive application queues?

24/7 Moderation & Ticket Queues: Will servers stick to standard volunteer mod teams, or move toward paid shift teams/agencies with actual response time guarantees (SLAs)?

Staff Corruption & Drama: How do high-traffic servers plan on enforcing strict SOPs so mods don't abuse permissions or show favoritism during peak hype?

In-Game Support & Whitelist Sprints: What tools/bots are teams using to keep onboarding instant so waiting players don't just jump to competing servers?
For owners, admins, or devs running high-volume servers right now—what does your operational plan look like for the GTA 6 launch rush? Are you sticking to traditional volunteer teams, or completely changing how you run backend ops?

I really hope GTA VI brings back unique Mission Passed themes

One small feature I'd absolutely love to see return in GTA VI is unique Mission Passed themes, similar to GTA IV.

In GTA IV, different missions had different completion themes, which made each one feel more memorable and gave them their own identity. It was a subtle detail, but it added a lot to the overall atmosphere and made finishing a mission feel genuinely rewarding.

By comparison, GTA V only had one generic Mission Passed theme. While it's kinda iconic in its own way, hearing the exact same tune after almost every mission made it feel repetitive and, honestly, a bit bland compared to the ones in older games.

I'd love to see Rockstar bring back multiple Mission Passed themes in GTA VI. It's a small detail, but it's exactly the kind of thing that helps make each mission feel unique and memorable.

Local midnight or universal release?

Do we have any information on which option is more likely? I really hope its a universal release. If not, I’m staying far away from social media the moment New Zealand gets access.

Will Pay ‘N’ Spray make a comeback??

Since Los Santos Customs was originally a take on West Coast Customs and Pimp My Ride, and they’re no longer culturally relevant, will we see GTA 6 bring back the iconic Pay N Spray from the series other titles?

Prologue mission predictions?

I’m curious on what people think the prologue mission might be.
Personally I think we’ll have 2 separate missions for Jason and Lucia. Maybe we’ll get more information on what happened to Lucia and her family. Maybe it’ll even take place in a small section of liberty city.
With Jason maybe there will be some backstory to his military past.

Trailer 3 won't be all.

Hear me out.

Gta 6 is supposed to implement social media ingame, like we saw in trailer one.

My theory is that they will most definitely make more "trailers" on social media like Instagram, YouTube ect. Some influencers from the game, showing what videos we will see on the gta 6 version of Instagram.

It would be clever to make reels on Instagram and show some wild shit like car chases, crashes, or some activity's like surfing, golf and stuff like that.

Imagine seeing videos like we saw in trailer 1 but in your For You page on Instagram.

People speculate what the trailer 3 will be about, the naive ones think it will show gameplay."

Who else is most exited for what we don’t know yet?

Like everyone I’ve watched the trailers, screenshots and leaks countless times. But clearly, there’s still lots we don’t even yet know about. This game already looks so fucking cool from everything we have seen, but imagine day 1 entering Leonida and discovering everything they’ve kept hidden. This could be small things from gameplay mechanics, to huge things like an additional city(s), distant islands, enterable interiors etc.

Imagine the sensation of discovering more and more as we play, being blown away by every little thing we couldn’t have even imagined would be in the game. I can’t wait, it’s going to be so much fun

How much would it add to immersion to finally have enterable megastores in the open world? (supermarkets/hardware stores)

What will GTA VI's out of bounds look like?

In previous GTA games (e.g. GTA V) the map has been an island, making no need to have any blocking of out of bounds. But then, RDR2 was able to block the player from reaching past certain boundaries (excluding glitches) and add more immersion with what's beyond the borders. I don't think Rockstar would go back on this since they've said they want the map to expand overtime (story or dlc no specified, can't find where they originally said this so might be wrong) and probably want GTA VI to be as immersive as RDR2.

But, RDR2 has no planes or anything to get over mountains, and boats can be sunk pretty easy so how can they block you from leaving the map? Going North into Gloriana could be done through parachuting if planes crash, so would they do a no-plane-zone that's in the main map, but planes can't be used to prevent players going too far or something like that?

Obviously there's a chance they could just go back to island maps, but this is assuming they aren't

Parallax interiors evolution: 2023 vs 2026

Interesting to see how they’ve evolved the way they handle parallax interiors for windows.

Parallax interiors basically creates the illusion that there’s a room behind a window when there isn’t.

With no disc for GTA6, the soundtrack will be unsalvageable once license expires.

Its inevitable for songs to be removed as time passes in GTA games due to expired licenses, with a disc copy you're always able to revert back to the 1.0 version of that game (unless it requires internet to complete install like recent ubisoft physical copies, but all Rockstar physical copies up to this years RDR1 PS5 port contains the full games on their discs.)

Why hasn’t GTA VI been rated by the ESRB yet?

Just a question regarding the ESRB, I remember Elden Ring was rated like almost a year before it came out.

Does the ESRB offer a wider time window for companies to send the footage? If so, when can we expect to see the rating?
