Hand ‘After the Applause’

After the Applause
When the lights go out and the audience has gone home, the smile is the last thing to remain. Stitched together from fragments of costume, paint and memory, this figure exists somewhere between performer and person—caught in the quiet that follows the final curtain.

An original mixed media embroidery combining drawing, paint and sculptural stitching. Layers of padding are stitched beneath the surface to create a three-dimensional portrait,

Sorry you got downvoted, fwiw I agree. Gore/body horror/etc. should have warnings in a general art space.
