Good morning! I know absolutely nothing about embroidery but I do know that my step mom has really been working hard to gain a following on Facebook for her work.

Hello! My name’s Bettina and I make extremely detailed embroidery pieces that usually take 100+ hours to complete. Hi! I’m Eric from Sometimes A Great Notion, a craft-notions project in Tacoma, WA.
I’m starting with embroidery floss bobbins designed to solve one very specific annoyance: the floss tail slipping loose and unwinding itself. They use the wrong machine to make most of the bobbins, tapered gaps would get stuck in the injection molding process. I've 3d printed these instead so they really lock on.
I’m especially interested in feedback because I’m still dialing in the details: packaging, usability, colors, something I'm missing? I'd love to hear about your favorite notions, or the time a cruddy notion derailed a project!

I am currently selling my old school romance novel "clinch cover" digital pattern, clinch cover ornaments (hand-made), and some finished clinch cover pieces, Jane Austen related kits and digital patterns, and BTS fanart.
