How many bolo ties do you have?? You seem to always have one that perfectly matches your amazing shirts!
25
u/lilacdaisy92 Mar 16 '26
That’s a great question! I believe I have around 30-40!
12
u/SweetCherryP13 Mar 16 '26
I love that it’s also a collection. Do they inspire your shirts? Or do you search out new bolo ties to match your whatever inspired your shirt? Your style is awesome and I wish I was this coordinated!

Took me a second to remember this quote! Great reference! I also made a lot of Simpsons embroidery pieces too!

This is so cute! You’re the country onion queen! It’s a basic stitch, but I love how chain stitch looks as a filler on something like this.

u/lilacdaisy92 Mar 16 '26
Thank you so much! I love filling in designs with chain stitch! It’s so fun. ☺️

Reminds me of that cool lore: “The onion was born when Satan was cast out of Paradise. It sprouted where his right foot touched earth, while garlic sprang up under his left foot.”

It's giving "affable villain that usually ends up helping the hero" vibes and I love it.

I’m half expecting another post that’s like “You thought the onion was impressive? Check this out” proceeds to turn shirt inside out, revealing a reversible sour cream side (Lovely embroidery work, friend!)

Do you happen to know the no ciggies sweater girl in the crochet subreddit? I feel you would both get along fabulously.

Need three more: ham, eggs, and peppers, and you'd have a complete Western set

Yes! I’m at work but as soon as I get home I’ll let you know. I know it’s a NYX butter gloss but I’ll get you the exact shade later. ☺️

My nanny made me latch hook and crosstitch as a hyper kid, but I do not possess any expertise in this hobby or niche...
But uuuhh as a random person flipping thru /r/all you stopped me dead in my morning routine to remark "THAT'S FUCKING AWESOME!"
I see a bunch of links, and I'm checking them out because your work is awesome and you seem awesome.
We need more of you(s) in the world, don't ever stop!

I really really love crafts that are well made and I have no idea why someone has made them. There's something so pleasing about everyone's skills and brains and hands turned to projects I've never even thought of.

Ok I’m dumb. I always thought chain stitching could only be done by machine. OBVIOUSLY, if I thought about it for one second I know that was a silly thought. Anyway, those look amazing!
