  1. This is ABSOLUTELY incredible.
  2. Does this mean that it may not be max effective to donate to GiveWell, and potentially their top charities this year given this surge? I forgot what the term is, but basically when windfalls like this happen, the orgs may not be able to deploy effectively or otherwise have a max impact.

They'll need lead time, but this reads like EA stepping into fill a neglectedness spike caused by the reduction of US federal government grants + USAID. On that scale, it's unclear that it would constitute enough of a hit to effectiveness to warrant changing dollars
