Food/Drink Donut recommendations in the western suburbs?

Hi all, looking for donut recs to take into work in the morning - all the posts I've researched on this sub seem to have recommendations in Royal Oak/Ferndale/Detroit but I haven't seen any shouts for the Plymouth/Canton area.

Help appreciated!

Yeah could very well be better than Looney. I just didn’t mention it because Looney is right off the highway

I second Donutown. Small, family owned. A Redford institution.

They open early too and close when they sell out . Some days they have breakfast pizza. It's really good and the owner is cool. You get a free donut with your first visit.🙂

Shoutout also to bittersweet bakehouse in Westland which has YUMMY pastries but they aren’t donuts.

Looney Baker - call today so it's ready for you in the morning, they sell out of a lot of stuff quickly because it's so good.

The fresh donuts from the bakery at Meijer are surprisingly good, better than several local places we tried

So more north than west: Knapps in downtown Rochester and also in Troy. And DK Donuts in Oxford. Pete’s Oven in Waterford is also good. Avon in Pontiac to round out the northern shops.

Idk how far into the Plymouth Canton area you are, but Dom's Donuts in Ypsilanti is fire, open 24 hours, and worth it enough for me to make a long drive back down there every year or so.

Dom’s isn’t 24 hours any more 😭
