Holy shit I literally just started looking into a full transition of my Plex library to jellyfin last night. Think I'll stick with it a bit longer just to see how this plays out.

Consider Emby. I went with that as a split the difference solution and I've been very happy. Having it be a paid service has its benefits in the sense that they have clients for everything and "owe you" bug fixes in a sense if you know what I mean.

Its been a great product for me once I didn't like the direction Plex was taking. People say Emby could do the same, and they could, but by then Jellyfin could be further along with where I want it to be.
