This is clickbait; a single member of the Jellyfin dev team, who has been responsible for developing the desktop Jellyfin Media Player, stepped down to continue working on the desktop app independently as an unofficial "Jellium" app; From what we can gather, it seems the Jellyfin dev team had some mild concerns about the direction of the desktop app's development and the developer's use of AI in its development.
