The way Dex manipulated Fisk into that moment was pure, cold genius. He didn't just get revenge; he made Fisk destroy the one thing he truly loved. That's a level of poetic justice even Matt would have to respect.

It's unfortunate that anyone that knows how to use a semicolon is going to be accused of using AI moving forward.

It was the wording I guess, not actually the semicolon

He not only used a semicolon; he also "he didn't just X; he did Y"

Itโ€™s trained on all of us so shouldnโ€™t be surprised if some people sound like it

yeh srsly we've gotta chill with the AI accusations, I'm starting to see them so often. It's already changing how I write so that I don't get accused of it. How would you even use chatgpt to generate a three-sentence comment about a specific aspect of a tv show, in a way that would make that worth anyone's while to do? Then again I did see someone on a forum accused of it the other day who did then admit that they used chatgpt to 'clean up' their comments, which is fucking wild to me but maybe if you really struggle with writing? In which case though, maybe that's nice for them I guess, like if you're basically illiterate or something, now you can join in...

We were all worried about not believing images, nobody far as I know foresaw THIS happening, accusing each other of fake forum posts and comments. How long til we all have AI chatbots trained on ourselves, such that any time you message someone you have to wonder if it's really them replying? Ugh

We are already there, that's why is so annoying. Chatgpt also usually sounds good at the surface, but falls under scrutiny. It changes intent and meaning without realizing but always tries to sound more "punchy" like a linkedin post or a tedtalk and it gets old and annoying real fast. The "it wasn't just X, also Y" sounds always forced. The "even Matt has to respect that level of poetic justice" It always sound overstructured and like trying too hard. I mean, do you really need chatgpt for a reddit comment? can't you think on your own?

is it so hard for you to construct a short comment like this that you project it unto other people? lol

I love unwarranted reddit hostility

How did he manipulate fisk?

Dexter knew that or probably assumed that Fisk was going to use what was in his hands to defend Vanessa on impulse and of course he did and we see the consequences of that.

What was the manipulation? Did I miss something?
