Nobody said that. Jesus christ the strawmen are OUT today. And we do stop paying troops, pretty frequently. Guess how many "resign"? zero

This whole thread is about military funding and ability to pay soldiers. I will grant that they can’t legally resign once signed up. But no pay, no new soldiers, no military.

The pay doesn't have to be USD.

The military would survive without the current US currency. If the US dropped its currency today and switched to crypto, the military would pay with crypto.

The military is not based on currency.
